Kia Ora from Auckland

Kia ora (hello) from Auckland. It is warm yet rainy so today was an "indoor" day. After breakfast we struck out for the Auckland Museum. Visiting a museum with Goody is a bit like speed dating -- we usually hit just the highlights until he loses interest. He is always, however, a good sport. Most of the museum is devoted to the history of the Maori and other South Pacific tribes. Here is Goody next to a waka taua, a war canoe. We took a bus back to the hotel stopping to walk along the aquaduct on the way. The architecture in Auckland is very modern and the people are very nice. Goody is now watching the Iowa caucus coverage on CNN. You can take the Republican out of the U.S. but .... you know the rest.
